What We Do

Uno Unidos offers three pillars of support:

Faith and Fellowship

At the core of our ministry is a simple message — following Jesus' example to love God and others passionately (Matthew 22:36-39). We strive for the entire community to feel seen, heard, and loved by God and Uno Unidos, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

Empowerment

Dedicated to empowering the Jarabacoa community, Uno Unidos invests in families through its Family Development Center. This includes prenatal supportive services to expectant mothers, offering parent education classes, and providing safe and secure childcare services for children from birth to five years old. By providing this multifaceted support, our goal is to fortify families and bolster the overall strength and resilience of the entire community.

Collaboration

In answering God's call, Uno Unidos remains steadfast in our commitment to serve the families of Jarabacoa indefinitely. Our approach is grounded in meeting people where they are, underscoring the importance of a relational rather than transactional ministry. This ensures sustained support for the entire community, as we believe in building enduring connections.

To fulfill our mission, Uno Unidos relies on the steadfast support of our faithful donors and partners worldwide. Notably, our partners include, Shepherd Church (Porter Ranch, CA), South Spring Baptist Church (Tyler, Texas), Fraternidad Amor A Quisqueya (Jarabacoa, RD), and the Global CHE Network. Together, we aspire to bring about positive change for the children and families of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, by embodying the heart, hands, and feet of Jesus.

We invite you to please support our ministry by making a donation, volunteering, or spreading awareness, so we can greatly impact the city of Jarabacoa — together.
